Between sentence and surface

I’m Rixt Visser, a maker, writer, and designer working where stories meet space.
I move between research and intuition, between text and image, always looking for ways to make ideas tangible - whether through an exhibition in a living room, a graphic poster, or a short essay.
My work often begins with a question or a detail I can’t let go of, and grows into something others can step into, hold, or respond to.

Huis Tuin & Keuken Expositie

The Huis Tuin Keuken Expositie is an intimate, free art initiative that brings experimental works into everyday living spaces—transforming homes into exhibition venues to make art accessible and relatable.

Co-founded by Rixt, Lieve, and Zora, the project reimagines domestic environments as spaces for artistic exploration, inviting creators to experiment and audiences to experience art in familiar settings.
